Great location as it was in the middle of the old town next to the church. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was self service and good with lots of choice. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful.

A very small issue was that the extractor fan in the bathroom did not turn off at all. As the door to the bathroom was glass and did not shut like a normal door you could hear it in the bedroom. I did ask at reception if we could turn it off, unfortunately not.

The hotel Staff were very pleasant and helpful The Bed was large and very comfortable.

Breakfast was bland in presentation and taste. Heat wasn’t working and we had to change rooms.

The location of this hotel is a total plus, plus!! You can easily walk to Marienplatz and the market in one direction and the English Garden in the other! This will be my go to hotel in Munich!

Rooms are not large but if you're just sleeping in the room...it's perfectly fine!

The location was fantastic, close to everything we needed. The bikes we hired were great to help us get around.

The hotel is beautiful with clean large rooms and professional, welcoming and helpful staff. Real gem and the location in middle of town is perfect..

Check in and early room assignment went well. They managed to give us two room next to each other The location is superb, right in the middle of Haarlem Grote Markt square

The main irritation factor was the climate control in the room which didn't seem to work even after trying different setting. This made the room uncomfortably warm at night even though the temperature outside wasn't all that high. Rather small restaurant for a big hotel. Due to covid, staggered breakfast timings were applied but at prime time this was not working very well and we had to divert to another hotel for breakfast.

Clean room with comfortable beds and good facilities in the room. The staff at the reception in the evening, were kind and very attentive. Hotel is centrally located, several restaurants nearby. Wifi is really good!

There was a bad smell at the reception area and in the room when checking in in the evening. The smell in the room went away after some ventilation and running the airconditioning for sometime. The hotel has no restaurant or room service for food. Had to park at the interparking garage at the train station, 15 minutes walk away. There was no 24 hour parking rate for the hotel at the Appelaar garage next door.

l was blown away at the historical décor of the building. As one who appreciates historical buildings and a sailor at heart, I enjoyed every minute of my stay. I wished I have more time there. The building is magnificent, the art is so detailed and beautifully presented. I loved walking around the building marvel at the various mythical figures, anchors, sea creatures, wave motifs and the zodiac signs. The staffs were amazing! they were friendly and very helpful to help with luggage, directions and getting a taxi. I was greeting with a free cocktail drink (blue lagoon). I requested and to my delight was given a tour of building where I get to the boardroom. I felt like I stepped into the titanic. I greatly enjoyed the tour. The concierge was a fantastic tour guide. In short, I would recommend this hotel for all to experience even for a short stay if for anything, just to appreciate and experience the Art and Luxury of the hotel!

If there was AC, I missed it. It was a warm day, as such the room was a little warm.

Paying full breakfast rare during covid and ending up with a takeaway continental breakfast at 17 euros !!!!

Location: near the centre. Not even a minute to walk to all the pubs and terraces. Staff is very friendly and the rooms are nicely decorated.
